Hamilton Branch State Park is a beautiful park located on the South Carolina side of Lake Strom Thurmond in Plum Branch, South Carolina. You will enjoy awesome campsites within in this park most of which are located right on the lakes edge. There are wonderful hiking and biking trails within the park. This is truly a camper’s paradise.

Camping
There are over 150 campsites available at Hamilton Branch State Park most of which are lakeside. All of these sites have water and electric hookups. There are 11 tent-only campsites with only water and no electric.
Located around the park are eight comfort stations that offer hot showers and flush toilets. Two dump stations are available for RV campers.

Trails
There are two trails located within the park. Hamilton Branch Connector which is a 0.3 mile hiking and biking trail that connects to the 12 mile Stevens Creek Trail. And the Paleo Trail which is a fun 1.5 mile hiking trail which travels through thick forest in the park. You may be able to spot a bald eagle nested along the trail.
