Bussey Point Campground

Bussey Point Campground is a very remote campground on the Georgia side of Lake Strom Thurmond.  This campground has just 20 campsites.  There are six sites along the lakes edge for tent camping and fourteen larger campsites to handle RVs and horses.  One of the unique features of this campground are the horseback riding trails.  The Bussey Point horse trail is 12.5 miles long and circles the peninsula.  There are beautiful views of the lake from all over this remote park.  The payment for staying overnight in the park is based on an honor pay system box located at the front of the park.
